We have 7 satellites that we use to provide programming to our customers. The last satellite that was launched was in 2008. Depending on the line of sight, East coast locations normally are pointed to our Eastern Arc - 61.5, 72.7, and 77, with West coast pointed to Western Arc - 129, 110, and 119.
If an East coast location doesn't have the line of sight for EA, the technician will attempt the WA.

It most likely would not be the Earth's gravitational pull. More like the meteor was already shooting towards the Earth or near it enough to head to us. In that case, the Earth's gravity plus the meteor's speed minus the inverse force of the atmosphere equal if it would come down or not. Other than all of that, the poles of the Earth's magnetic force is what pulls meteors in, not the gravity, although it does help. :/
the Highest I heard is 576 port
i heard there in the progress in making season 2
The first artificial satellite, Sputnik, weighed 184 pounds. When the Americans heard this they thought there must be some mistake, because the first American satellite was only 1.8 pounds. A few months later the soviets launched their second satellite, which weighed about one ton, and carried a little dog on board.
By most accounts, the Cotton Club Orchestra was one of the earliest shows heard on a radio network-- NBC, in 1930 (it had been heard on New York radio for several years prior to getting a network slot); Duke Ellington was in the band at that time. Another early black performer with his own radio show was Noble Sissle, whose band was heard on the CBS radio network beginning in 1931.
