In your Freestyle disco solo you can pretty much do anything from legkicks to megs high jumps but this is only in your solo in which you dance around the room you are not aloud to add any walkovers ( Forward or back ) and you are not aloud to do any sort of flip. If you are a champ ( Premier) Then you are able to add walkovers in your solo spot where you are on your own dancing down the room to the judges. Many moves include : Pike jumps Stradal jumps ( Box jumps) Leg kicks , catches Back catches Forward and back walkovers ( Only in solo spots) Tuck jumps Ilusion turns Leg catch turns ( nikes) Splits Floor craft poses ( Please look on you tube for any advice on these jumps or to see people dance then just type in ,,, freestyle disco dancing )

Making your own disco costume is fun, easy and very inexpensive. Going to a thrift store and buying an old suit or dress will cost you little and by adding some retro type sunglasses and accessories will give it that extra touch.

It depends what type of compition it it. If it's ballroom/latin-american then girls should wear dresses and boys should wear shuts(trousers and shirt). If it's ballet then wear the ballet costume. If it's freestyle/modern/disco/breakdancing ect then you should wear something comfy and causal, like sorts and a tee. It depends what type of dance you are doing.
