Witnesses don't believe in evolution. They believe it is an untrue representation of how life came into being and probably a lie which is the product of the Devil. Answer Jehovah's Witnesses are fully aware of the facts of Microbiology including DNA-sequencing and possible frame- or shift-mutations in the code for any life in genes. They do not consider any of these results that can be reproduced and represented at any time ad hoc in any laboratory as lies. They believe in God... not some accidentally rearrangements or just a simple coincidental big bang started life... but God. Not some bacteria developed or upgraded until there were humans. The main difference of their belief and the one that evolutionists believe is, that Jehovah's witnesses give credit to God for any of these discovered facts as a result of an intelligent design of life. And as I said, they do not believe that everything just started out of a simple bacteria or whatever... men have been created... with genes of high complexity. I would like to append, that I'm not a Jehovah's witness myself - but I know some of them. I think my answer appreciates / shows more the respect they prove for any scientific discoveries of today. They do not just consider anything in science as a product of the Devil. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that it makes sense that a God created our beautiful Earth, solar system, and everything else out there and our creator should get credit for his hard work rather than evolution. Pick up a handful of rocks. Now toss them in the air. What happens? Nothing. How can we expect particles to clump together and create the Earth, the Planets, the Solar System and everything else? Think about those documentaries on PBS. Our Earth is amazing. People have always been fascinated by it. It is capable of renewing itself, reusing water, and is incredibly beautiful. Do you think that particles could do so many things? Something new about the Earth is always being discovered. Humans haven't been to the depths of the ocean, and few have made it up Everest. There are many creatures yet to be discovered, let alone studied. How do those particles that supposedly made our Earth, get there in the first place?

The demographic profile of Jehovah's Witnesses is consistent with low educational achievement, with some 63 per cent not proceeding beyond high school. As a result, Jehovah's Witnesses often hold some simplistic beliefs, with Pew Research finding that 74 per cent are convinced that humans did not evolve.
