What do North American Opossums eat?

Opossums can survive on almost anything they can find, like carrion or garbage, but their preferred meal would have to be maggots and grubs from underground and inside rotting logs and such.

In my scientifical studys of the UPC Science Center of Alabama i have investigated that opossums have an unbearable smell that forces predetors off ....but there is only one organism in my studys that has actually eats opossum.....

A opossums has a little bit of predators like owls , herons , foxes , wolves , badgers , bears and dogs , coyotes , mountain lions , weasels and mink .

They are opportunist's and will eat pretty much anything they can get their cute little paws on. They compete with the birds for the birdseed in the winter.
