Nope. Strict carnivore. I've been working with these for two years and it HAS to move or they won't touch it. Once I even tried waxworms, but they were so slow moving, I had to jiggle them with tweezers to make them appetizing.
If he's really tiny, you need to special order small crickets and other small insects.
The food items can not be bigger than the space between it's eyes. So that means he
needs very small foods. Flightless fruit flies and 1-2 week old crickets should be
appropriate. Ants will be fine to feed as well. You will need to dust the insects with
calcium and multivitamins 3 times a week.
Western Fence Lizards will be fine with a 75w house bulb inside a dome for heat. An
under tank heater would be fine too. Temps should be 80-90 during the day and 70-75
at night. I'd advise that you go buy a good thermometer so you can keep an eye on the temps.
The water dish should be shallow, and cleaned daily as many lizards like to use the
bathroom in them.
Again, give him a couple more days to settle in. Do not disturb him much during this
time. Drop insects in and back away and do not do any sudden movements. My Fence
Lizard barely ate while I was around, I always had to stand back a-ways.

Between $100 and $150 for proper caging, heating, lighting, and supplements to keep the animal healthy, plus the cost of a vet visit (this species is almost always wild-caught, so will need to be deparasitized). The lizard itself will probably be around $20. ('There's no such thing as a free puppy').
