All atoms of the same element have the same number of protons and neutrons and electrons. For example: All Calcium atoms have 20 neutrons. They don't have the same number of neutrons, protons, and electrons its just that every Aluminum atom you see will have the same number of protons, then you will see its neutrons and there might be more or less of them than protons but is you see a few of them, they will have the exact same number of neutrons. Same goes to the electrons. They will also have the same weight, radius, and chemical symbol and number.

What atoms have the same atomic number?

Atoms of the same Element have this.

What are atoms with the same atomic number but different mass called?

Atoms with the same atomic number are all atoms of the same element. However, if the atoms have different molecular weights, they are isotopes of the same element.

How is it possible for two different atoms to have the same atomic mass?

They would have to be atoms of the same element, and the same isotope of that element.

Are atoms with the same atomic number atoms of the same element?

yes. Isotopes of an element have the same number of protons, thus electorns, thus the same chemical properties. Where isotpes differ is in the number of neutrons. Consider hydrogen, atomic number 1, atomic weight 1, 1 proton, 1 electron vs duterium, atomic number 1 atomic weight 2, 1 proton, 1 electron, 1 neutron. H2O = water D2O = heavy water

What are Atoms with the same number of protons are?

All atoms with the same number of protons are atoms of the same element. The number of protons is the atomic number of the element.

Do all atoms of any one element have the same atomic number?

An atomic number is actually related to an element and not an atom. Therefore, the question is not relevant. It is NOT atoms that have an atomic number; it is the element.

Is the two atoms have same atomic radius?

Two atoms of same element (for a given isotope) are identical and hence have the same atomic radius.

What are atoms of an element have the same atomic number but a different atomic mass?

isotope

Atoms of the same atomic are called what?

isotopes Atoms of the same element are called Isotopes. they have the same number of atoms (i.e. same atomic number) but different number of neutrons

Do All atoms of the same element have the same atomic number?

Yes

When 2 atoms appear to have same atomic mass?

When they are of the same element.

An element is?

An element is a substance made up of atoms with the same atomic number
