OK first off, the last answer was incredibly DULL and not really the answer. here's a better one;

Usually when they're first born they are white. As they grow older they turn grey. It usually starts with an odd blotch of grey/ black.

Second off, they are allot like fully mature pill bugs, but tinier. Anything not like that is either roach larvae or something else.

They look like caterpillars but they have spikes on their back and baby ladybugs have four legs.

A young or newly born love bug looks very similar to the adult love bug. They are much smaller though and live in grassy areas so are not seen as often.

They are like a cross between mosquitoes and flies. The are little thin and black with an orange dot on their backs
