A qualification in electronic engineering is a passport to many careers, ranging from the telecommunications industry to the TV and film industries. A career in electronic engineering also provides plenty of opportunities to travel abroad because Irish technician and engineering qualifications are recognised throughout the world

Engineers are people that can design a concept for needs in electronics. Technician do not design but do work closely with engineers to provide support by finally proofing the design. A good engineer knows exactly what book and page to find the answers needed for for the design.
