Especially if you are Asian or African in origin, this might mean you have melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer. I have just had my small mole on the palm of my left hand removed, it was analyzed at the hospital and it was skin cancer. The mole was less than 5 millimetres and it had suddenly appeared two-three years ago. I went to a dermatologist just to be on the safe side and... it was melanoma. So please make sure you check all moles that you have on your palms. Not only that but also on soles of feet, inside mouth, nose, in fact you are supposed to keep checking all moles and report to doctors if you notice any changes.
