It could be a number of reasons. Pain in the ribbed area of the chest is called angina. Extremely severe pains in the chest towards the upper-center and/or upper-left areas can mean a heart attack. Localized pain more near the stomach area could merely be signs of gas or indegestion. People who are constipated or who have taken a laxative may exhibit similar feelings. Pain in the lower right rib area could mean several things. It the pain is severe when you move or press on the area, it could mean liver or spleen damage. Such is usually followed by feelings of cold numbness (signifying internal bleeding). If the pain is sharp, quick and acute but not severe and hurts every time you breathe it could be pleurisy (inflammation of the lung's outer membranes). If all you have is a dull ache, the chances are that you merely have a pulled or overstretched muscle. This is expecially common if you have been physically inactive over a period of days or sleep faced down on a hard floor or tough mattress.

BUT if ur feeling this pain INSIDE your chest that's bad. chest pain is a major sign of an impending heart attack... as in your having one now or about to in the near future. and heart attacks are bad

∙ 13y agoyour muscles can hurt for a number of reasons. But often follow the same principle's, to much physical work or exercise. the way to get rid of muscular pains is stretching correctly and getting plenty of protein in your diet. If the problem persists consult your gp or doctor

If you can feel it on the surface in the muscle then it is your right pectoral muscle. This muscle is responsible for making your arm move forward. like punching somebody or hitting your elbows together Bench pressing is the weight lifting exercise for this.
