Animals do not need "fun" the same way humans do. Tying human emotion to an animal is not reasonable. Animals may enjoy something they are doing, but that is the extent of that issue. They do enjoying hunting, killing and eating prey. They are one of the only animals that will go out of their way to hunt and kill humans. That appears to be fun for them.
Polar bears spend most of their time hunting for food. The female dens up for many months to give birth to and nurse a cub or cubs. They do court and mate, but this is an activity with a small window. They operate in the most energy efficient manner possible when food is scarce. Shopping for lunch and conserving energy are the most vital activities for them.
