The Arctic wolf is white. In the winter it has a double layer of fur. At first glance, an arctic wolf can look like a German Shepard, but they have longer legs, bigger feet, a wider head, a long bushy tail, stronger jaw bone and sharper teeth. Most adult Arctic wolves weigh 75-120 pounds or as much as 175 pounds. Arctic wolves have 42 teeth.

The arctic wolf is sometimes called the gray wolf or tundra wolf and is 3 ¼ ft. long is the average but big ones can get to 6 ft. Females can be 3-5 ft. long.
