What do the German Army Occupation Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Theater ribbon mean when listed on a soldier's discharge papers?

Answer:

Answer

What this means is that the soldier served in the ETO prior to V-E Day, then continued to serve in Germany as a part of our Occupation Army after V-E Day. If you would e-mail to me the unit listed in Box #6 of the soldier's Discharge Document I would be happy to provide you with all the information that I have about the unit.
