What do the different sizes of memory boards mean?

Answer:
There are two sizes (the official term is form factors) for motherboards. They are ATX and BTX. ATX is the most common and the CPU, RAM, expansion ports are always at the same place on an ATX machine. BTX was built to accomnodate gamers who have the highest CPUs, the most advanced graphics card. This generates a lot more heat than the normal ATX computer. So the BTX is built with more fans and more vents to allow it to stay cool inside the PC because of the faster and bigger gamer components. Everything about the BTX is built to improve cooling so the CPU does not get too hot and destroy itself.
