What do voles do?

Answer:
Voles are a real problem in a lot of areas of the country. They are very damaging to lawns, shrubs and trees. A dozen pairs of voles in an acre of land can have hundreds of babies and their populations can quickly get out of control if something isn't done about them. They tunnel just under the snow in winter, leaving a maze of trails through your lawn in spring. They chew through the tender outer bark of shrubs and trees, girdling and killing them.
