either check the hdmi cable or unplug and replug. You have to use the correct input format on your tv. Ex: input one is av cables (yellow, red, white) while input 2 is coaxial. Input 3 should be hdmi. unless you have more than one hdmi input they should be names hdmi 1,2,3 etc. You must select it from your TV remote.
I plugged the HDMI cable into the HDTV and into the PS3. Then I went to the settings for both the HDTV and the PS3 slim and set them for HDMI and sync. When it works right putting a disc into the PS3 will turn on the HDTV and also switch the HDTV over to that HDMI input rather than a cable box or similar item even if it was on the cable box when you last used the HDTV.
no my boyfriends bro plays on his in his room and that's just a normal telly not even a widescreen The PS3 looks best on a LED LCD HDTV and on the largest size screen the room will support. It will work on TV that has any of the Plugs to allow connection including HDMI, S Video Component or A/V RCA plugs although you may have to purchase the PS3 cable to allow connection. That means you can hook up a PlayStation 3 to Front or Rear projector TVs, TVs with Picture tubes, Plasma or LCD TVs, ETC.
It is your TV that is saying no signal and not the PS3. When it happens to me it is when the TV is not switched to the correct source. For me this is when the HDTV is still at the PS3 source of HDMI or HDMI-3 plug and not the cable HDMI plug or HDMI-1. It can also happen when you purchase a cheap HDMI cable that stops working or when something is just disconnected from either end of the PS3 A/V or HDMI cable
Yes, you can in some cases. If your laptop has an HDMI output, a single HDMI lead is all that you will need. Most laptops with an HDMI output also include sound on the connectors but there are some that don't. If your laptop has a DVI connector, a DVI to HDMI lead will work but note that there is never any sound on a DVI connector. If you need to run sound separately, use an analog audio lead. Most televisions have a separate audio input linked to at least one HDMI input that will provide for a separate audio feed.

because your xbox360 was manufactured between certain monthes between 2008 and 2009
Only in hdmi 3! All other ports may not work at all!
hdmi or component cables
You need an HDTV for it to work and the TV has to have an HDMI connection. Then you need to turn your HDTV to the location for the HDMI that was connected
If it is a playstation 3 and the TV has HDMI input and you have a HDMI calbe then it will work.
The distance from your monitor to your audio video equipment
In order to get the best out of your tv and ps3, having an HDMI would be a smart choice. HDMI cables are cheap and go for about $5-$10. Try Amazon.com, I got mine from there for only $5.
If your PC has an HDMI port and the connector is the same as that used on a PS3, then it should work correctly.
As long as the TV has an HDMI port, then it should work.
CRT screens don't have a port for you to plug in a HDMI cable.
To watch a Bluray disc in high definition, an HDMI cable is needed. However, almost all Bluray players have an analog, standard definition output that can be connected to televisions that do not have HDMI inputs.
HD plasma screens are available on computers. You can hook your computer to the TV via the HDMI port, so that your blu ray drive in your player has the full resolution.
