Without having more information it is hard to comment. Of course, such behaviour is unacceptable from anyone, and completely reprehensible from a mental health professional, though it would be hard to see a)how they could do that if they work in the field and b)what their motivation for doing so could be. If you are talking about this board, I suggest you contact FAQfarm@despammed.com, and if another board see if there is a way of contacting those who run it via the site.

As the former poster said it's tough to make a comment without all the facts.

I find it hard to believe that a professional would go on any board simply to mock or put-down people. Why? Because Psychologists and Psychiatrists make good money with the clients that come into their office and they don't have time to go on message boards. Beware of some of these boards. People aren't always who they seem to be.

If you highlight (right click and drag) over the message, then go to "file" and click "print" you can print out these messages. I would suggest, if this person is mocking people with mental health issues, you keep these messages and take them to your local police. However, be warned ... when each of us goes on the internet and joins boards we do so at our own risk. It's tough to know if the person you are talking to is on the up and up. We have become a society of talking to faceless people and I must say I don't particularly like it.

I go on this particular board for several reasons. It's well monitored, the people that leave information are always helpful, you learn a lot and you can help people that may not have family or friends they can go to for advice or can't afford to see professionals.

Be sure you are not reading in the wrong way what this person is saying. Once you start the process of going after a professional you have to be absolutely sure of your facts and if you aren't you can ruin this person's career.
