What do you do if there is no hope?

Answer:
There is always hope. God gives us hope each and everyday. Even if you don't believe, try praying before you go to bed. Tell him about your problems and try to open your heart. I promise if you truly try to have a connection God will answer your prayers in some way or another. It might not be the way you want, but he will do something. The answer might not come as soon as you would like. Just remember, things could ALWAYS be worse. There's starving kids in Africa that are dying everyday. You should be thankful for what you have.

Answer:
Obviously there are situations where you aren't going to come out at the far end (mine disasters, terminal cancer. old age, submarine accidents and so on). It isn't going to matter what you do, nothing is going to change. So folks write notes to relatives if they have time or record messages in other ways. Some opt to kill themselves to conserve air or rations for others that are trapped with them, others steal everything they can for themselves.

Less serious cases which people describe as having no hope - recoverable sickness, job loss, marriage breakups, etc. - are not terminal and your own hard work and effort will see you through. Don't count on supernatural help. Professional counselling, police, EMT and friends are going to be more help.
