Well the same things happen to me, I was seeing a black guy for almost a year and then I got pregnant well my mom was not as bad as my step-dad but at first it was a big deal and then after my daughter was born and my step-dad got to hold her and love her the racial issue was no longer now we are married and my daughter is 3 and my son is 2. It will be hard at first but then it will get better.

Is Obama black or biracial?

His mother is white and his father is black. That makes him biracial. Just because the racist media keeps calling him our 'first black president' does not mean they are correct. He is half white. The only people who have issues with this are racist black people who try to claim him as fully black. They know they are wrong.

Why don't the Europeans consider biracial mixed children of both black and white to be black people?

Americans are conditioned by the media, American culture, and overall teaching of the One-drop rule that states that it is an automatic assignment for an individual who is mixed white with any other race that was considered of low class, to be classified as the other race. For example, in America, if an individual is mixed both black and white, the person is black because he/she has an ounce of what is not white. This is a racist rule that should have died along with slavery, but sadly it still thrives in America. In Europe a biracial person is considered biracial and not a specific race. The question many biracial people ask is why should a biracial person have to side with only one race if they're two? Others criticize that the biracial individual should not have to be labeled.

Why are Texans racist?

Not all of themn are racist a lot of them arent. Some people are racist because they dont like the color of somebody if they aren't their color. They might be racist because their parents are and that's how they grew up. If you really want to know a much betta answer ask somebody that's racist and hopefully they don't tell you something like cuz i dont like them or that color.Racism comes from expiriences and your parents and grandparents and so on I am a Texan myself and in no doubt in my mind the blacks at my school are far more racist If you are not a Texan don;t attempt to post anything, or your assumptions will most likely be racist themselves haha-middleschoolkidAnswerNot all Texans are racists. There are racists everywhere and I know Texas has its share of them but there are many Texans that are not.

Is it racist for parents to tell their children what race or culture they should marry?

it depends in what culture you are in. some cultures hold parents words more in consideration more then others due to culture. For example most westernized cultures consider that racist (exception immigrants and children of immigrants), even though some household in westernized countries do do that(plus parents opnions hold less weight in their childrens decision in who they should marry). In countries in Africa, Asia or middle east, it wouldn't be consitered racist because culturally it's not preached or acceptable to marry someone of another race, culture, religion in majority of families in those countries( plus parents opinions are held in more regaurd in who their children marry). So it depends, it's racist if you do it because you hate other races but if it's for cultural reasons then it's not racist.
