I am a twin, and my sister and I, both 22 are really close. We're close since she started going out with a guy who was horrible to her when they went out. She's been with him for two years and now wants to marry him. He has always hated me because I go out with my friends a lot, and he didn't like her hanging around with me. He also has a problem with our older sister and her husband. He has no good words to say about any of us, and we all hate him. But my twin sister is so in love with him that even though she has told us many times that she will break up with him cos he treats her horribley and always critiscing her clothes, the way she speaks, the ways she thinks. He has changed her into someone she's not. She isn't the cute, adorable sister anymore, but a showdow of her former self. She's become insecure and looks like a scared rabbitt. She still wants to be with us, even though he has warned her that when they wed, she will have nothing to do her own family anymore.

But I can't do anything because this is what she wants. I've told her that I am not happy with this situation, and she has indeed lost her family. I feel sad and cry all the time because she was like my best friend, and we have been through everything together but it looks like she's prepared to forget all that and start a new life with him instead.
