I am In my second year of college and i can tell you one thing for sure, Unlike high school and middle school (which i just got out of within the last 3-7 years), and that is there are no more super-cliques.
You have two choices at this point.
1. uphold your image on the outside, and maybe you get over him and move on maybe not youll never know.
2. or take a risk find out for sure. dont try to break away from your friends im sure at the very least your best buddies will stick by you.
In conclusion i say try it. try not to make a big deal out of it act like you and him are a normal thing, and maybe people will have the decency to follow.
