Be very patient with your horse. Don't beat it or anything like that. Something may have spooked it or you may have done something that set him/her off.

If you're on the horse when she/he starts bucking or rearing, don't look at the ground, or you'll be slamming into it in no time. Instead, focus between the horse's ears and hold on tight.Dont panic!

Try to pull your horses head up and ask him to go foward. Horses often think bucking gets them out of work. If you cannot pull your horses head up, try to pull it towards your leg. In this position the horse in not able to buck.

They say "disengage the hips" because the horse's power moves to his/her hind legs when she/he bucks or rears. This doesn't mean hurt it. Instead, hold on tight and pull the reins tightly.

Try to get back to the ground and whatever you do, don't fall!Dismount the emergency way.

Don't ride a horse you don't feel safe riding!

My horse did the same thing so what i did is some what hard and easy.

Step 1:Have your horse attached to the lunge line with your whip in your hand, also have a second hand person to help. Have the person stand on the other side of the horse , then ask the horse to go by tapping him on the hind quarters and get the person to walk while holding the horse. After about 5 min.change the way you are walking. Then ask him to trot, when you think you got a good feel for how he is going to act get him to go a little bit faster then tell the person to let go and back away keep on making him go if it doesn't work KEEP ON TRYING!!!!! Thank you for asking.

Whack him with the lunge line on the nose and pull his head in hard. Make him switch directions a whole bunch of time to make sure he gets that he can't buck when you are lunging him. Hope this helps! :)

Can a shetland pony do a 2ft cross country course?

No they are to short. -Pinkyangel It depends on the pony. Yes some can. You should probably start by having the pony go over some jumps on a lunge line without a rider. If you can get him/her to do that you could try putting a rider on its back. Just prepare the rider for refusals especially if the pony has never jumped before while being ridden. ~pinkyangel1029 (strange how close our users are lol)

Your 2005 4.7l v8 wont start radio and air come on but wont turn over starter checked and is good?

There is a starter relay that is about $10.00 bucks, First I would try changing out the safety neutral switch that is on the side of the transmission, I have found that to be the first thing that goes, If your car thinks you are are in gear it want start, Part about $ 15 to $20 bucks, I learned this the hard way

What do you do if your pony is sick on club pony pals?

If your pony on Club Pony Pals is sick, you have two options to make it better.Feed your pony a Horse Heath Supplement. These are available at Klines and the vending machine at the barn for 10 Wiggins Bucks each, or 6 for 50 Wbucks at Klines.Go back to the barn, and groom your pony. Use all of the grooming tools on both sides repeatedly until your pony is well again. You can prevent your pony from getting sick by trying not to bump into rocks on the trails, making sure your pony does not get too hungry or tired, not feeding too many treats and visiting often. If you know you're not going to be able to visit for some reason, try to stock up on Horse Health Supplement. One will be automatically fed to your pony every day you don't stop by so that your pony doesn't get sick.

How do you ride a pony that bucks without being bucked off?

Try this- get a crop. VERY important. Then, put a dressage saddle on the horse (or western, the heaviest one you have lol) and mount the pony. Be flexible, and NOT stiff- also very important. When he goes to buck, sit back in the saddle and give him a good kick in the ribs (this worked on my horse that loves to buck). If a kick doesn't work, give him a good smack with your crop. Don't be afraid; do you think that a crop would hurt your pony more than another pony kicking him, full blast in the paddock? Hope this helps. ^^

What is the heaviest weight a pony can take?

it depends on how large your pony is. If you are more than say 190 lbS I would stay away and try getting on a horse, not a pony. Children are what most ponies carry.

Where can you find a saddle for a Shetland pony?

There is no 'one size fits all' for specific breeds of horses and ponies. It would be best to measure the pony for a saddle or have someone more experienced , like a saddler , try to fit the pony for a saddle.
