Try as much as you can to be yourself. Yes, you're nervous and wanting to make a good impression. So, number one, look good. Number two, realize that you are good enough all on your own and you don't have to pretend to be something you're not to get what you want out of life. If you two are compatible, good. If not, it's not the end of the world. Move on to the next.

∙ 15y agoFirst dates are generally the date where you get to know each other. So, dinner and something where the two of you can talk would be good. Some would say movie, but I'd say not. You can't talk during a movie. But, if your date isn't going very well, go to a movie. But, if it's going great and you want to talk more, take a drive around somewhere, walk around a mall, etc... But, no kissing, period. No kiss on the first date unless you've both established a while ago that the two of you like each other a lot.
