I would make sure your dog stays away from stairs because they might fall and injure themselves more. Then i would make a comfortable room for your dog near a door if the need to go outside. I would put your dogs bed there or make it a comfortable place for it to sleep. I would also put your dogs toys, food and water. Also give your dog any pain medicine and follow all advice given by a vet.
