Fear keeps you from doing something stupid, but you want to get your ears pierced. So here is what you do, call or go down to couple of professional body piercing studios and talk to the piercers (just talk, no piercing, just talk). As questions get answers and see how you feel about that, from there you can decide which shop treated you the best and where you felt most comfortable then you can think about booking and appointment. Baby steps, baby steps you need to learn to walk before you run. If you choose a shop see if you can have a friend there to give you some support and just get it done. In the hands of a professional body piercer you have nothing to worry about, they are trained experienced professionals who will look after you from start to finish. What do you end up with a great experience and a couple of cool ear piercings and something you will remember for a long time to come.

∙ 15y agoget a friend to go with you and you can squeeze their hand. but really it doesnt hurt it feels like a really hard pinch that only lasts for a fraction of a second then its done.

∙ 14y agoReally, I think that is won't hurt. I don't have mine done yet, but my 4 year old friend had her's done, and didn't even cry or flinch! I am about 2 get mine done though.

there arent really any problems with getting your ears pierced when you're young. the younger you are the faster your body's ability to heal is. the one downfall of very young ear piercing especially on babies is that by the time they get to be older like 10 or so sometimes their ears have grown enough that the piercing is no longer in the desired location on the ear. piercing move upward on the ear when it grows.
