There must have been some warnings and it is not uncommon for couples to separate or divorce and even more so once the children are grown up and leave home. The only thing left for you to do is seek legal advice as to what belongs to you. This will protect you while he is making up his mind if he intends to end the marriage or think things over and come back home. It would be wise to meet with your husband and ask for an explanation so you can better understand why he has left and if there is any hope for the two of you getting back together again. He owes this explanation to you. If he refuses then tell him to file for divorce and you will do the same.
