Poultry waste makes good fertilizer. High nitrogen content is perfect for gardens and soil supplement. When cleaning out the chicken coop the waste should be piled in an open compost and mixed with other compost materials such as grass clippings and leaves etc.
Well moistened and turned often it will break down very quickly and can be added to the soil after about 120 days.
