If the cramps are worse than normal, you may want to ask your doctor; it could be an indication of an infection or other issue with your cycle.
Different people have different remedies for their cramps; everything from killing their boyfriends to Haagen-Dazs. However, the most effective that I have been told of (and doesn't pack on pounds or put you in jail) is a heating pad on your tummy, or exercise.

∙ 7y agoA lot of women I know swear by heating pads. Some women prefer hot baths. My grandmother said pulling her knees up to her chest eased her cramping. Every woman is different. I personally find only Tylenol can cure my period cramps, of course mine are worse than normal, due to my PCOS. Try a few different methods, you're sure to find one that works just right for you.
