Brushing: Pugs shed a lot, so keep a brush at you at all times!
Wrinkles: Once a week, clean your pug's wrinkles with a damp cotton ball. Remember, this can be a stressful time for your dog, so petting and a calm voice is necessary. Get a little wrinkle which is up by the nose, the wrinkle that kinds of runs down there muzzle, and then their forehead wrinkles.
Shy or Scared Pugs: Some pugs act as if they already been in your house when you take them home and play it cool. Some pugs sniff all over and are very curious. And some pugs are shy. Dealing with shy pugs can be tough. Most likely, when you take the pug home with you, he or she hides under a table and stays there for hours. Get a doggy treat and put it to the end of the table, then silently walk to a hiding place. If the pooch comes out, throw another one a little closer to you but still hide. When the pooch is finally near you, gently reach out and pet him or her and show it the treats. Hopefully that training tip will help!
Pampered Pug: Yes, I believe in pampering your pooch. My pug Homer rides in a baby stroller! Be careful while pampering. Some dogs just want to be dogs. When dressing your pooch, make sure that the clothing is comfortable. Count. One shake probably means "What is this thing on me". Two shakes maybe means "Sorry guys, still getting use to it." Three shakes probably means "Okay, someone help me and get this thing off of me!" If your dog doesn't like a clothing, don't force him or her.
Paw nails: I paint my dog Homer's nails too. For human nail polish it will be OK to put on your dog. BUT make sure you don't do it that much. Once a month is great. And make sure your dog does not lick wet nails. To help them stay still, do it somewhere comfy, like their favorite bed or the couch, and have something to wipe the "mistakes" off. You can even play music. Chinese music seems to calm pugs. My pug also loves to listen to Taylor Swift!
If you have more questions, you can also ask your vet.
The Pug Dog is originally from China.
A pug dog has a black mask. If it is an all black pug dog you cannot tell, but on a fawn-colored pug dog you can. The pug has a black marking that goes around its mouth and eyes, which is often called a mask.
A pug. A pekinese, not quite sure of the spelling.
The correct spelling is 'pug' (a breed of dog).

I don't think there is much research done on this but I do know of a 3 1/2 yr old Pug with this disease, I think it depends on the quality of life and mobility of the specific dog but you can hopefully expect around 3-4 yrs obviously as long as the dog is not suffering unduly.
