What do you have to do to stop your laptop freezing up and stopping when you try to run it in safe mode?

Answer

when running in safe mode you may find that the computer stops this is in fact a mistake.

a normall bootup takes 3 to 4 mins depending on the computer the same computer in safe mode may take 15 to 20min to boot. this is due to the drivers being loaded and unloaded and the logfile being written with the results. if this fails still to boot select the option in safe mode to manually install the drivers dont panic it will ask you if you want to install them one by one.

Answer

TRY THIS !!!!

IF YOU HAVE HYPERTHREADING IE PENTIUM 4 OR SIMILAR... GO INTO THE BIOS ...SOMETIMES DESCRIBED AS SET UP AND LOOK TO SEE IF HYPERTHREADING IS DISABLED.. IF SO RE-ENABLE IT AND SAVE THE CHANGES AND THEN BOOT INTO WINDOWS IN NORMAL MODE, THIS MAY SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM !! GOOD LUCK
