What do you need to be a real estate agent? |
[Edit] |
You need to find a broker who will "sponsor" you -- provide an office, desk, phone, etc. You will study to pass the state exam and be issued an agent's license which will hang on the broker's wall. Once you have enough experience (varies by state), you can take the broker's exam and get your own broker's license. Then you can open your own office and sponsor others who want to become agents.
