There are no restrictions in Islam (that I'm aware of) on creating an image of a mosque. However, to be absolutely safe, you should avoid including any people in your model, as this is frowned upon by Muslim orthodoxy.

The most important architectural features to include are the minaret (tower) and a large musalla, or prayer hall, which is often domed and almost never has any furniture. There should be a mihrab, or niche, set in the wall facing Mecca, in which direction the room should be oriented. Other necessary facilities are fountains for purification and racks for shoes and coats.
