It is a type of face mask. A CPAP machine is used to provide air to people with sleep apnea -- it forces air into their lungs so they don't stop breathing. You have a choice of one that just fits into the nostrils, one that fits over the whole nose, or one that fits over both nose and mask -- the last one is the full face mask. You wear these while sleeping with a CPAP machine running.
