The beeps sounds specify the error when the Bios fails the Post test (when your computer starts up).

It indicates some kind of problem that's been detected by the BIOS. The precise meaning depends on the manufacturer of the BIOS; you should see that on the screen as the computer starts. If you then search for 3 beeps and the BIOS writer (eg AMI or Phoenix) with Google, then you should find the answer to your question.
1 long, 2 short Video adapter error: Bad or improperly seated video card

Those beeps are a code telling you whats wrong. Count the beeps Example 1 beep followed by 3 beeps is like a code 13. Then use that number and search for POST codes in the internet POST stands for Power On Self Test. This is only step 1 in diagnosing your problem. Lots of Luck.
