∙ 13y agoYes. Her husband is Carl Thomas Dean, a former asphalt-paving business man she met in 1964 on her first day in Nashville. They are still married now, and have been married since May 30, 1966. Most people are unaware of him, as he is a very private man and Dolly seldom mentions him unless directly asked, as she respects the fact that he does not like details of himself to be publicly known.
