It means that at some point in your life, you were exposed to herpes type 1 and type 2, and the virus got transmitted into your body through the skin. Once it got into your body, your immune system produced antibodies (that's what Ab stand for) to each type- that's what seropositive means (sero- likely comes from serum, which is the part of your blood that contains cells from your immune system, so your immmune system is positive for herpes antibodies).

You were probably exposed to type 1 and type 2 at different times in your life- type 1 often happens during childhood through kissing near the mouth (eg a mother kissing a child), and type 2 usually gets transmitted through sexual encounters- in fact about 10% of all people who've had sex before are herpes type 2 seropositive.

Herpes stays in your body for life, so your test will always be positive. It also means that you can transmit herpes, even if you don't have an outbreak- it stays in your skin.
