New Zealand being first to the future (with the exception of the Norfolk Islands) first see in the new years. Apart from various concerts, the Skytower (www.skycity.co.nz) in Auckland sets off fireworks. As a nation of only 4million people it's not a huge event like Australia's Sydney harbour bridge setting off fireworks etc.
OH! and it's summer here so we would have had a BBQ or headed to the beach on Xmas/New Year's Day.
Jeez, what don't we do!! um...beach it up, play sport, DRINK, BBQ, sleep, let off fireworks, sing and just share the love man!
