∙ 14y agoSkype is initially a free program. You can make voice and video calls to other skype users for free, if you and the person you are trying to contact have internet access.
Though, when calling a landline or a cell phone, you can buy skype credit, and the rates vary for different regions.
You will need a microphone and speakers to hear and speak to the people you call.
