THC reduces sperm count, increases heart rate, short term memory is basically gone, and hand/eye coordination is also impaired. You can't predict any individuals reaction to THC as it's never exactly the same. You might lose your temper, or go on a laughing fit. Proportionally, one is twice as likely to become addicted to caffeine, three times more likely to become addicted to alcohol, and six times more to become addicted to nicotine, than THC.

In short, THC does not harm your body, the smoke which carries it does. To much of anything can be bad for you. With a few tries, each time i had bad side-affects when trying it. Most of THC's affects are caused bye what it does to your nervous system. It attaches itself to the brains neurons and interrupts the normal communication. As this is an un-biased explanation i will stop here so not to mix my personal opinion with the facts. I can not smoke marijuana as it causes me to have anxiety attacks, but i know of many people who benefit greatly from its affects.

Greatly increases your heart rate, and because you're not excecising, your breathing is slow and deep. With your heart beating twice as fast and you breathing in lots of oxygen, your heart pumps double the normal amount of oxygen throughout your body. Both sides of your brain receive oxygen and begin to work at the same time. This causes you to think and feel differently. Also, with double the oxygen in your blood, your body is able to heal faster and produce/heal brain cells faster. It also makes you sleep great.

THC is what creates the "high" produced by the Marijuana. There are membranes of particular nerve cells in the brain that have special protein receptors called, cannabinoid receptors, that binds with the THC. When the THC binds to these nerve receptors, a series of chemical reactions occur that alter the function of those nerve cells. The majority of brain cells that have cannabinoid receptors are located in the parts of the brain that affect pleasure, sensory, concentration, time perception, and coordinated movement.Once inhaled, THC travels from the lungs, through the bloodstream, all over the body. One of the most common effects of smoking Marijuana is an increased appetite, or "the munchies." This is because THC acts as a stomach relaxant. This is why it is sometimes used for medicinal purposes to suppress nausea in chemotherapy patients. THC can also affect your heart. When under the influence of Marijuana, blood vessels in the body constrict, which increases blood pressure and heart rate, as well as limits the oxygen-carrying capacity of blood.

The short-term effects of marijuana include:

  • problems with memory and learning;
  • distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch);
  • trouble with thinking and problem solving;
  • loss of motor coordination; and
  • increased heart rate.

Effects can be unpredictable, especially when other drugs are mixed with marijuana.

THC has quite a high overdose threshold; it has to be injected intravenously to be lethal. Assuming you could drink that much, you would probably throw it up again before finishing. You would simply get very, very high from it.
