Yule is referring to the winter solstice which is celebrating the longest night and the blessings of darkness as well as the rebirth of the sun god.

The previous answer made by someone was "it's a way of saying 'hey' but in a ghetto way"....I had to correct this person's answer.

Yule is "Christmas" in some cases... it's a similar word in germanic languages (such as English)
