Pinnacle systems GmbH: The A/D convertor that allows analog video/audio to be transfered To/From a USB 2.0 port.
Simply put; this device is a box that sits externally to the computer case and acts as an adapter to transfer video and audio from an analog source such as a camcorder or VCR. It also allows for Digital media on the computer to be recorded through it back to the VCR. It's primary use is editing home movies from video tape on your computer then re-recording them back onto tape.
