A Church spire is a decorative addition on top of many Churches, triangular in shape they amount the higher part of the church, usually on the bell or clock tower, it is believed that the shape derives from similar pagan symbols and was adopted by Christianity, as with the Obelisk.

nothing. its a lightning rod, but the architects put a Crucifix on it to show its a Church.So some say, the real meaning is its a male falic symbol,same with the Christmas tree,and the obelisk
