What does a good Blackjack dealer make? |
[Edit] |
In Nevada, the minimum wage. Dealers make their money in tips. In a good house they can make as much as/or more than $75,000/yr in tips plus wages. It does not necessarily depend on how good a single dealer is, it is in the overall performance and attitude of the dealers and the generosity of the players.

Well, it's a demanding job, and most of the money is from tips. Working at a regular casino, you can expect about $50k a year, I'd say. Working in a good one can be a lot more profitable.
Blackjack tips are more frequent, although small, while poker cash game tips are far less frequent, but usually a good deal of money when they are given. Blackjack is also monotonous, while poker is always exhilarating even to the dealer. Most dealers prefer poker because of this.

Actually poker dealers make much better tips than Blackjack dealers, poker players are much more generous, they normally will tip the dealer every time they win a hand whereas a blackjack player tends to base the tipping on how much they have lost.
