the stem
it's an acquired taste but I would not recommend it. I myself do not like it nor does my family. It reminds me of a time when my friend and I bought grown strawberries from her neighbors and they tasted horrible. They had a weird smell and taste that I have never gotten used to. All in all I'd say sugar cane tastes bad!
>>I think it tastes delicious. Don't think of it as tasting like anything you've had before because it's its own taste its like saying what does a mango taste like? Know what I mean? But yeah its sweet, and crunchy and the texture is like if you bred apples and soft wet wood together so don't swallow it. just chew it. like a REALLY tough piece of celery. The flavour is its own. Sweet. Just experience it. It's not really an acquired taste cause i loved it the first time i had it so... depends on your tastes :) have fun!
