What does a silicon chip do? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Hi,
A silicon chip is another term for an integrated circuit. What that means is that it's now possible to integrate thousands of transistors, diodes and other components into one tidy little package thereby saving time, circuit board space and costs in building electronics products.
Hope this helps,
