What does a venue manager do?

Answer:

There job is to organize a schedule of appearances of a musical group at a sequence of venues. they arrange this by contacting local and long distant venues either by phone or email; they then send them a press package with basic details of the band including, contact information and a music sample, if the venue is interested they then arrange a date for the band to perform and also discuss price for renting the stage and what percentage of the sales the owner of the venue gets from the show.
Venue managers are also occasionally in charge of hiring Roadies but that is mostly the Tour managers responsibility.
