Alcohol basically results in a feeling of happiness and a lack of restrictions, in small doses. Being drunk is the effect of multiple things happening at once:

It disrupts sleep patterns,

Breaks down your nervous system(impairing senses and dulls sense of morality)

Slurred speech

Causing brain damage and memory lapses

And of course, you will most likely get a massive hangover the next day =D

In the long run, it will cause you to deny more things, have chronic hangover symptoms, feelings of guilt and shame, semi-frequent blackouts, and a very aggressive/grandiose behavior.
