If I'm correct I believe it means either "Uhm" or "Uh".
Actually that's partially correct. It really depends on inflection and tone.
"Ano~" where it's given the same hesitant or drawn out sound as a person in eglish would use "uhh..." as if uncomfortable or searching for something to say likely in response to a question asked. "Eto~" is another commonly enough used and means the same thing.
Example:
Anata WA anata o hazu no WA, kurasu ni suru hitsuyÅ ga arimasu?
(you should be in class, shouldn't you?)
Ano~ watashi WA soko ni mukatte ita?
(Ummm, I was just heading there?)
"Ano WA...(insert sentence here)" used in an actually sentence generally refers to "that [over there]" and belongs to a group of demostrative pronouons (Kore, Sore, Are, Dore) where you choose one depending on the position of the object being referanced.
in the basic standard sentence structure NOUN WA ACTION desu in this second one, Ano might take the place of the noun or it could be expanded and a particle such as 'WA' or 'ga' (generally the most common) would follow, with the rest of the standard sentence following that.
Two examples are below.
Ano WA nani desu ka?
(what's that over there?)
Ano ga watashi no hon desu!
(that's my book!)
It means "uhmm"
so basically you utter it when your out of words to say.
Pretty much "Um, hey..."
Ano hito WA doko desu ka?
Translated in English, it means, "What is the first letter of the word 'bayani'"? Bayani means Hero in English. But the word bayani is used formally for national heroes and such. not on an everyday casual conversation.
in japan when we talk about mixed race people we use the world half and this can be said in two waysHalf Japanese -> 1. Hafu nihonjin desu 2. Hambun desuIs that girl a "halfblood" - ano kanojo ga hambun desuka?
grinding
Dark brown nga tae ano sakit meron ang tao
consonant isolation
The Japanese word meaning I am, you are, he is, she is, they are, we are is desu. This is pronounced dess.Example: Ano onna no hito wa honto ni kirei desu = that lady is really beautiful.
Maybe you mean "Ano ang unang letra sa salitang bayani?" Then in English it is translated as "What is the first letter of the word bayani."
"Un ano" means "one year" or "a year" in english.
ano hitowa dare desuka?
Ano ang english ng nadadamay ? Nadadamay - or involved
In Tagalog you spelled it correctly, but in English, ano means what.
