The state of Grace means that you are beautiful and are the princess of god it's self! ==new answer== In the universal language of mind, grace refers to the relief we experience from the karma of repition of painfull experiences which only comes through understanding. When we understand how and why we have particular experiences, then we know how to do things differently so that the results are better.

The term 'State of Grace' (I am not sure exactly who coined the phrase) although not used in The Bible, refers to a persons standing before God at a particular time. The Bible does refer to persons who have 'fallen from grace' as those who were at one time in a 'State of Grace' and have departed from it. In other words, they were believers, and were thus saved by God's grace in Christ and have become unbelievers and are now outside of God's grace, by their own foolish choice.

Although this term has evidently come to have certain connotations in Eastern religious thinking it was originally used in connection with the issue of the biblical doctrine of salvation in Christ. This is of course a totally different perspective as, according to Eastern thinking, man does not need salvation in the biblical sense at all. Both the thing itself and the means of attaining it are quite different.
