I would suggest that you either have an STD or you are not producing enough hormones to develop a uterine lining. If your body is not switching on the hormones, you are continuously shedding the lining you are building. Brown usually means "old blood". Go and see a doctor.

Most women also spot when a fertilized egg implants in their uterus, aka get pregnant. Unless it happens every month or you haven't been sexually active, you might want to take a pregnancy test.

If you had some rough sex, you can have a little brown blood from trauma.
Brown is usually old blood on your period. It happens often towards the end. When there is not enough blood to come out, but it builds up (collects) then comes out, it is brown because of the exposure to oxygen.
Just like when you menstrate an older pad will have a brown blood. Dried blood is brown, so it could be the end or beginning of a period.
